You can be honest, it's okay.

Here are the curtains I hung up in our bedroom. I actually made them to go in our dining room while we were remodeling that room. But then I decided I didn't want green in there, so I made others for the dining room, and kept these for the bedroom. Now that we've finally done our room, I was able to hang them up last night.

Does anyone else think that these look like they belong in an old lady's house?

I don't think the pictures show the actual color very well...they look a little brown. Either way, they do look a bit old lady-ish. I guess it just depends on a person's preference. You did a great job on them though.

Yeah, I had a hard time getting a photo that showed the color correctly. They are a mossy green color. The walls are kind of tan ("chalkware"). Actually, since we got the furniture back in the room, the curtains are really growing on me. The room looks warmer and cozier. Of course, it IS warmer and cozier since I also crammed insulation around the windows and under the baseboards before I put on the new moulding, and I caulked around the windows and put weatherstripping on them. What a difference.

I think they're really cute! I love that look. Did you use a pattern or did you just make them?
